Disproportionate voting between Urban and Rural Population

அரசாங்க உதவிகள் அனைத்தும் கிராமபுர மக்களுக்கு மட்டும் அதிகம் தேவை படுவதால் அவர்கள் தேர்தலில் முனைப்புடன் வாக்களிகிறார்கள்......நேற்று நீயா நானாவில் நடந்த விவாதம்.. ஆனால் ஒரு மார்க்கெட்டிங் eye கொண்டு பார்த்தால் ஒரு theory எனக்கு தென்படுகிறது.. Abraham Maslow சொன்ன Hierarchy of Needs.. படிக்கட்டில் இல் நகர்ததிலிருக்கும் மக்களின் தேவைகளும் கிராமபுர மக்களின் தேவைகளும் வேறு படுகின்றன.....இப்போது அரசியல் கட்சிகள் target மார்க்கெட்டிங் மூலம் இவர்களை segment செய்து cost benefit analysis, cost per vote calculate செய்து பார்த்தால் கிராமபுர மக்களின் vote சீப் அண்ட் பெஸ்ட் option ஆக தெரிகிறது......இதுதான் disproportionate வாக்குப்பதிவிற்கு காரணம் என கருதுகிறேன்...:)

உதய சூரியன், முரசு, தாமரை, இரட்டை இலை, பம்பரம், துடைப்பபம்..... தலை எழுத்தை மாற்ற இந்த சின்னங்களில் எதை தட்டுவது....... கொள்கை கோட்பாடு என்று கட்சிகளுக்கு உள்ள core ideologies ஏதும் இல்லாமல்...இப்போது கலைஞர், அம்மா, captain , மோடீ...என தனி நபர் political branding மூலம் தேர்தல் களம் ஒரு விளம்பர கலவரமாய் காட்சி அளிக்கிறது......

Corporate companies வெளியூடும் Annual Report போல ..IPL Fanatsy league il player score points போன்றுஆட்சி செய்யும் கட்சிக்கும் ஆண்டு முடித்த கட்சிக்கும் election commission ஒரு rating points வெளியுட வேண்டும்..அப்போது தான் தெளிவாக வாக்காளிக்க முடியும் ....David miller மீதும் dhoni மீதும் எனக்கு இருக்கும் நம்பிக்கை இந்த தேர்தல் வேட்பாளர்கள் மீது வைக்க முடியவில்லை...

Ssssssshhhh...Silence as mode of communication







Communication is a means whereby exchange of thoughts takes place between minds. Words, signals, etc are processed by the co-ordinate efforts of brain and finally results in thought reception.
Communication can be classified as verbal or Non verbal communication. During primitive ages i.e. during early stages of evolution of human race when words weren’t invented men communicated through non verbal communication like raising voices, modulating their tones or sending visual cues etc albeit central idea being thought exchange must happen between minds.
How about silence as means of communication. Silence –no words, no cues, only emotional reasoning happens between minds. Silence can convey a lot than words. When words could not convince one’s heart, mind tends to switch to a different mode to communicate. Silence is the only peculiar object of human emotion to transfer thoughts without need for cues, words, sounds etc.
Silence can communicate either positive or negative thoughts. In a business environment when silence communication happens between two close and frinedly colleagues a lot can be conveyed between minds. But when remaining silent before a superior during crisis times may be perceived as irresponsible attitude as employee is acting in contradiction to business needs failing to communicate what essentially the firm demands..
Knowing when to be silent and when not be is a skill that has to be learnt while using silence as a means of communication.
A smile in silence is a positive affirmation. A frowning face during a silence clearly indicates lack of acceptance and clear state of mind’s dejection.  
When hearts lie close especially in case of loved one’s or (happy couple) silence is worth a million words.  
But in a business environment where different minds from different background converges with a aim to create surplus for the organization silence is usually less desired as hearts are far separate and no one can really perceive who others are except those colleagues who had long term understanding and those close colleagues could easily reason out his pals mind what he is really up to.
For a loving mother if her child remains silent than she will perceive her child is in trouble.
A tiger hiding inside a bush remaining pin drop silent can be perceived as its ambush to catch its prey.
For a husband a long silence from his wife can be interpreted as wife’s dislike to arrival of her mother in law.
A student remaining silent during viva voce can be interpreted as his failure to grasp the subject matter.
Our Prime Minister remaining silent during times of critical remarks from opposition can be interpreted as test to his seasoned mind with his years of association in Indian Politics and acting as a matured politician.
Tiredness can result in silence. Loss of interest can be expressed in silence. Likes can be expressed in silence. Dislikes can be expressed in silence.
Conclusion: I would like to conclude the chapter on silence with a concept on financial accounting Substance over form. Substance over form is an accounting principle used "to ensure that financial statements give a complete, relevant and accurate picture of transactions and events. In simple words substance is what on the inside and material what is on the outside. Silence is what expressed on the outside and emotion the substance inside. While using silence as a communication the form-silence and substance –emotion should act with same wavelength so as to achieve the best of communication.

STAFFING IS A PROCESS OF MULTI-VARIOUS ACTIVITIES CONSEQUENT TO WHICH IT OCCUPIES A CENTRAL POSITION AMONG VARIOUS FUNCTIONS OF MANAGEMENT:

Staffing as a Skeleton: Like skeleton system of any homo sapiens which cages our heart Human relations are the lifeline of any organization since they form the major chunk of decision making process deciding the success or failure of Organization.

Staffing as Blood circulation: For humans blood flow circulation is essential to keep the various organs alive and intact with body , staffing which does the process of filling and keeping filled the various organizational structure is essential in keeping the organisation alive and intact with Business needs.

For Human Resource Managers the Job of selecting and positioning the right people at right place is similar to that Heart pumping the nutrient rich blood and enriching various organs during times of cell formation and cell division; i.e the daughter cells formed during cell division are enriched with nutrients absorbed from blood.
Like Blood which supplies nutrients to various body parts and playing important role in mitosis and meiosis "Staffing" as a separate function puts emphasis on Human element viz-a-viz personnel selection, Appraisal, Management, and empowers Human element with requisite talent to achieve the objectives of organization.

Like Sino-Atrial Node: or the pace maker of the heart which triggers the heart function by supplying electricity to the heart ; Well trained managers derived out of staffing function create an environment in which people create an environment in which people accomplish objectives of Enterprise as teams and personal goals are accomplished as individuals : Well trained managers are pace makers of any organization.

Like Arteries: which carry pure blood to the various body parts of the body Well Trained Managers identifies successful individuals and bestow them with rewards and incentives and influences morale and motivation of individual positively thereby increasing the productivity of the individual.

Like Adrenaline: Which forces blood to effected body parts at the time of “ Flight, Freight and Flight” and gives adequate blood supply when needed , staffing ensures the various roles and human requirement in an organization is adequately buffered and plan for contingency measures at times of expansion planning for optimal requirement of Human resource.

Active working of Heart aides in pumping blood actively to various organs, similarly active role of staffing function mobilizes Human Resource Capital throughout the organization through strategic actions.

With ample citations listed above one cannot undermine the role of Human Resource staff in an Organisation as they form the central function performing multi various activities and will always be the soul of organization driving forward.

Six Hats Review



Homo sapiens are considered to be one of the blessed and unique multi cellular organisms in earth since we humans have innate and highly evolved trait of power to think.
But most of the time while working as a team a lot of conflict arises in decision making process to arrive at a at decision since thought process are not quite similar for any two individuals or a group of individuals.
Ed ward de bono stated that the emotions, the information, the logic, the hope and creativity suppresses our thinking process and we squander too much of time in mixed emotion of thoughts and finally we end up in a messy outcome.
So in order  to streamline our thinking process Edward de bono suggested “six thinking hats” each hat defines certain type of thinking and wearing each of these hats under various stages results in parallel thinking and as a team we become much more productive.
Six hats consists of which White hat which calls for facts, information; Red hats which takes into account of feelings and emotions; Black hat signifies caution and critical thinking; Yellow hat thinking insists on optimism and positive outcomes; Green hat focusing on creativity and innovation and finally the Blue Hat which ensures all the six thinking hats are observed and followed in the THINKING process.
The color of each hats itself has their own implied meaning ie, Red color symbolizes fury and emotions, White color a neutral color, being objective, Black color symbolizes negative and bad so as to identify negative aspects, and Green color symbolizes fresh green vegetables symbolizing creativity and new ideas, Yellow is auspicious and brings out optimism, and blue color representing blue sky which shows favor upon all other hats symbolizing organized thought process.
The advantages of these six hats are eradication of ego, streamlining our attention, thinking with established rules thereby every individuals thinking is accounted and improves productivity in decision making.

A GIRL; A PEBBLE ; A SHOE:
                                                         

Sona could not sleep that night remembering the pebble that often comes every night in her dream at a lightning speed towards her eyes with an urge to smash her head into pieces which made her to woke up in the middle of every night but later realizing the that pebble was a virtual dream yet it pained her body as if she escaped from great danger in reality. But she firmly believed that stone would bring enormous power and wealth to her irrespective of its gigantic density. Sona after completing her under graduation course at the Cambridge fell in love with a guy named Raju. Sona married raju at London and her soul often dreamed of wearing Raju’s shoes ever since she met him. Raju was kind to her but sona restricted herself from wearing Raju’s Shoes as she felt she would be committing a great disrespect to her husband and often refrained from wearing his shoes. Still the pebble came in her dreams at a lightning speed virtually painful yet she felt it as a sign of Good fortune.
          Years passed , Raju’s passed away and one fine morning sona sat behind her husband shoes feeling all the love she had for him. She felt its time at least once she should wear Raju’s shoes so as to attenuate the absence of Raju in her life as his shoes are the only thing which she felt her husband still lives with her. As she stepped inside Raju’s shoes a sudden blast of thunder and light sparked her home the pebble came at a lightening speed towards her and this time sona fainted on the floor unconscious her foot encapsulated by her husband’s shoes.

Scene:2….2012 A.D
            India returned the Congress-led-UPA to a near majority in the 2009 general elections with Manmohan Singh as the Prime Minister. Sonia Gandhi leader of the UPA was at her home lying in her bed. A pebble came at a lightening speed in her dream which made her woke up realizing the phone ring was ringing for a longtime.
She picked up the call listened for a minute replied “am happy Manmohan ji”.. this victory was the one which I had always dreamed of…..she  looked below her feet encapsulated by Rajiv Gandhi’s shoes…that moment she felt the fortune had finally arrived.

Hamam and Curtailment of Candy passions


Noaaaaaaaa…………..wwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaa…….uuuuuuuuuuuu….i screamed at my father for forcing me to carry out routine bodily ablutions with the monotonous, boring, tasteless, minty less,  a soap which lives like a tortoise doesn’t disintegrate quickly unlike other soaps with a comparatively large life cycle ……I recoiled my emotions ; curtailed my candy passions unable to defend the facts its herbal, recommended by doctors, allergic resistant blablahh  burying my fantasies couldn’t withstand irrefutable logics of my father…


During my college times I felt it’s high time to un earth my buried fantasies….My Lascivious impulses with different candy bars exploded and started stacking my cupboards with all lingering colors...Transparent brown….Butter scotch…milky white….Pink..Rosy red….
Each day went with a different color……Bathing at its best….Soul rejoiced each with day humming Bum-Bum-bole

One fine morning as I was dusting my bed…My nostrils sensed some deep rooted flavor being unearthed….. Beneath my bed I found a old wrapper of Hamam….

an old fragrance and yet its scent is good enough to decipher  and acted like a ATM pin number and unlocked some very old fixed deposit account that my mind-bank opened long back….
As these senses got paired I started dwelling about memories of my past….The word “Trust” flashed into my mind……Years of usage of this soap has built itself a castle of trust inherently which came into lime light after series of experimentation with candy bars…..The truth is that the short lived colorful candy passions could not by pass but rather disappeared itself into a stream of thin year in its turbulent effort to by-pass inherent Hamam effects…….


Hamam dominated and still dominating millions of homes  with a simple catch phrase…”Trust”… that truly ignited and built a long lasting trust in Millions of Homes a fact which continues to live irrefutable
